Monday, February 15, 2010 - At 1226, Bedford Communications alerted the following companies for a structure fire at 4386 Diamond Hill Road: Co.8 (Moneta) first due, Co.13 second due, and Co.1 (Bedford) as RIT. Co.8 was already en route to a MVA in the same area when they were diverted to the structure fire. W-83 arrived quickly to find a single wide mobile home with heavy smoke showing from the "Alpha" side. W-83 and BCoFR Medic 14-8 were assigned to Division 1 and made a good offensive attack on the fire. W-13 and Engine 13 arrived and assisted Division 1 with overhaul and DC-13 (Glidden) assumed Operations Officer. T-13 and B-13 were returned to service by Operations. With a combined effort from Co.8, 13, and 1, the incident was brought under control. Co.13 units were released by Command and returned to service at 1357.
Units operating on scene: W-13, E-13, W-83, W-82, W-8, R-8, T-8, R-1, T-10, RS-2 (Witt), Medic 14-8, Medic 14-13, and Squad 8.
